About the Doctor
Dr. Baiju Senadhipan is a distinguished Senior Consultant and Head of GI, HPB, Bariatric, and Transplant Services. A pioneer of laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery in India, he has performed more than 10,000 complex gastrointestinal cancer procedures throughout his career.
He is the first Indian surgeon to perform Laparoscopic Coloplasty for Benign Oesophageal Stricture and Laparoscopic Re-Do Hepato Jejunostomy. An international expert, he is a visiting consultant at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute and Meditrina Hospital, and serves as faculty for IRCAD (India & Taiwan). Through the Senadhipan Education Foundation, he actively trains aspiring surgeons worldwide.
His expertise spans complex procedures like Laparoscopic Whipple’s Resection, Liver resections, and Metabolic surgeries. He combines clinical excellence with academic leadership, having contributed significantly to medical literature and surgical education globally.
